View Full Version : Shopping Best place to buy elecrical goods?
Hola :)
is there anything like a pcworld/currys or similar on the island for electrical goods? Or maybe something online?
Thanks
Sid
Krisplus in las chafiras is a good place nr iceland also as a small shop next door to conforama, I have purchased many products from said establishment with no complaints :flatcap::feret::feret::feret::feret:
Yes. Worten is a good example, also Media Markt. Both have online stores. Conforama and Carrefour both do a selection and again both have online stores. There's always El Corte Ingles but they tend to be a bit pricey. Don't ever, ever, ever buy anything from one of the so called Indian shops in the resorts.
only the ones that sell a curry !!!!
Worten on Las Chafiras, next to Conforma, has a massive choice just like a Currys.

Sid,
Unlike the UK Online shopping in the Canaries / Spain hasn't really been developed yet.

There is a new shop just up the road to Wortons in Chafiras towards the garage by the roundabout. I bought a new electric iron there for €10. Loads of stuff in there at bargain prices.

Was it Master Chafiras? They moved from a few doors from Worten? We bought our washer from them years ago.

Yes that's it.
thanks for the replies, checking Media Markt prices and there a lot cheaper than I was expecting, cheaper than the same item in the UK. example - 84" UHD tv for £6263 compared to £6499 here in Bligthy (currys want £8000)
