My car failed the ITV because of the front headlights – they need polishing because they’re hazed. It’s a 2000 Musso and, as a matter of principle, I’m not taking it to a taller. Simple question, I’m betting that I can do this with grit paper so what grit size do I need to finish with?

your profile says you live on La Palma so, sorry I can't help. Were you to live on Tenerife I could recommend someone.

That’s what I don’t want. I’m pretty sure that I can do this myself (having never done it). I’m only after the particle size and if I get no responses I'm happy to take it down to 15/20µm and rebook it in.

The toothpaste trick didn't work on my car. Tried polish, DD40, toothpaste and other recommendations nothing worked?
