Is it possible to buy a vehicle in Spain or Tenerife and Keep it in Tenerife?

Yes it is possible. If you indeed don´t reside in Spain, then we recommend that you get a stay NIE number (known as the white NIE), so that in the moment you buy the car you have an identification number in order to pay all the taxes and fees a car brings. And having white NIE does not make you a resident.

I'm on my second car now and not a resident. But as stated you need an NIE.

Thanks for that guys. What I have in mind is a camper van. Have to keep in mind the cost of keeping it there. Tax, insurance, etc...
