What is going on in Los Cristianos market today?

Just seen the webcam and see gazebos along the prom which look like market stalls but its Saturday. We usually go to Medano on Saturdays as its market day and generally buzzing. Not seen these before in LC so is it something new?

Had a walk past this morning. Not much different to most markets. Good prices.

Are the markets all year round?

This particular Market is only held in October but Los Cristianos has a Market very Sunday near the Arona Gran Hotel.

and since its return to the Arona Gran location the 'Sunday market' is also on a Tuesday at the same location.

Those I have spoken to recently say the Tuesday offering its pretty much the same as the more busy Sunday market but quieter and easier to get around.

Did the Sunday market years ago but not been for ages as its always too busy and a magnet for pickpockets. Most of the stuff on sale is tat anyway.
