Hello, Are there any walking groups and guides in the south of tenerife,
I would love to get out there to see the mountains up close can anyone help.

I'm sure I passed a place in La Caleta last July that does guided walking, shouldn't be hard to find on the web. Think they also did diving lessons.

I have seen all those tours but they are mainly for tourist and a bit expensive for residents wanting to do one walk a week.

I have been on the internet and most of them inc hotels I am resident and these are too expensive.

I have from time to time seen local councils advertising free guided walks. Adeje is one of the ones that has done this in the past. If you keep an eye on the local press, you might spot these free walks.

I have been an a couple guided walking tours now through www.dreamtenerife.com I personally recommend the la laguna and anaga trek it is so diverse and green really beautiful
