Hello everybody,
I try to find some information about being a singer in tenerife.
I am a male singer, with a few year experience with live audience.
I really love to sing and i always get great feedback so i figured why not give it a try.
My voice is greatly influenced by Tom Jones, Elvis, Roy Orbision and similar great singers.
I would greatly appreciate your insight on some of the followings:
1. Is there enough demand for such singers (on that genre) ?
2. If so, how on average does a singer like that can earn on a month?
3. Approx how much is the living cost in tenerife (assuming i rent a decent room for myself)?
4. Is foreigners allowed to work in tenerife? what does a singer needs in order to legally work?
5. Is there any sort of agency that can help one get started as a singer in tenerife (for a fee ofcourse)?
Well, thats a lot to ask... so thanks again :)

BTW - thats a link for one of my covers - its the main theme from DJANGO UNCHAINED movie.

Have a look as well at some of the hotels looking for animators, where there may be an opening for a singer as evening entertainment.
I have no experience with these links below but you may find a contact that could interest you.

There are a lot of bars with nightly entertainment below the Parque de la Paz apartments in Playa de las Americas , they are always on the look put for new talent .
Eric Viana & Denise Bell of Viana Shows/Tenerife Shows are well respected agents supplying singers to hotels, restaurants etc. I don't have a contact number but I gather you can find both of them on LinkedIn if you search.
And yes, "foreigners" can work in Tenerife if a citizen of the EU.
