I am going to be asking a lot of questions so here goes...

My daughter and I will be over next year to set up a business. I do need some help with knowing which documentation is needed and in which order.
I myself already have an NIE because I own a property in Spain. I presume this is the same document which can be used in Tenerife.

Which type of professionals do I need to get on board with to ensure everything is set up correctly?

We will be employing staff.

This will be a partnership business.

I know I have a lot of homework to do but you have to start somewhere.

Help very greatly appreciated.

I suppsose first you have to register a Limited Liability Company (Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada, S.R.L., or S.L.), but many local (farmers at least) choose to work as self-employed (autonomo). As far as i know, autonomo is the quickest and cheapest way of registering a small business. here is article that might help:
http://www.canarianweekly.com/residents-guide/residents-guide-how-to-start-a-business/ here is some infos about taxation http://www.advoco.es/hot-topics/43-guide-to-spains-autonomo-system.html#A3

Im also considering opening a small business, all info and help is welcome :)
