What is it with these Facebook Tenerife forums. That's the third one I have been barred from. All I did was post my article on the restaurant El Sol? Makes you wonder what interests some of these forums have.
I don't normally upset people. I think.

Was the article that you did on the El Sol Restaurant a favourable one???
On the I love Tenerife facebook page folk are awfy touchy . They don't want to hear a view that differs from theirs . Think you will enjoy
winding them up essexeddie . Hope they don't come on to this one with the banter between some on here , somehow don't think they would get it.

I'm on a couple of the FB Tenerife forums, I didn't see your post Eddie but compared with some of the sh**e on there I imagine it was quite informative.

No it wasn't. I put it on Tripadviser as well.

Heard its raining in tenerife at mo ... We are over in 3 months , will it still be raining ??? Lol

Dont believe everything you hear, last rain of any note in Los Cris was about 3 weeks ago. Long term forecast is dry for the next 3 months before the next tropical downpour.
Mention of a calima on its way - still hot tonight.

Must be my short term memory loss ! I recall a very light shower where we were but nothing of note, of course if you were in it it is a different matter.
Our neighbour in Spain tells me we had 4.5 inches of rain last Monday - now thats what I call rain !
When i was last in Tenerife it was cloudy the whole 10 days i have now booked the last 2 weeks in February instead of the first 2 weeks in March as the people said it was very nice weather before we got there last year. Will the Euro rate be the same .:drinking:

My personal opinion (and not that of this Forum) is that there are a clique of regular posters who turn most threads into a joke where they all join in, they obviously think they are being funny, clever or whatever but maybe, just maybe , that is why so many old members have deserted and now just use Facebook as their source of information about Tenerife. This Forum does have a Facebook page and the link is here https://www.facebook.com/groups/tenerifeforum/?fref=ts but you can access it directly from this Forum by using the "useful links" tab at the top of the page. You will note that I have changed the title of this thread which now more accurately reflects the up to date situation.

Ahhh but a lot of forums seem very quiet say for the last year, maybe more, ones that I have looked in on.
I think we are lucky on here that we do have the banter that goes on or this place may have closed - obv just my opinion.
thing is people lose interest if it's not your cuppa Rosie then that's it ! You move on and look for what is.
I think this forum is holding up well - the only problem I see is the newcomers that want advice on moving to Tenerife - the majority of their questions have been answered time and time again so old forum members are maybe reluctant to post.
It would be better that they researched first.
We have contributed seriously on many threads and being thanked for our valued input.:spin:
I think you'll find that the so called "clique" of posters is actually made up of pretty much the only posters. :tiphat:
