Can anyone advise me of where I can get some curtains altered please?
I need to have them shortened by 5"
I am in the Costa Adeje area.

Yip spot on Medman, but can't fit my sturdy Singer 99K into my luggage. Och but that would be a busmans holiday then!!!:laugh:

I've used Textiles Sur in Las Chafiras for curtain alterations and can recommend them. I believe they also have stores in Playa de San Juan and San Isidro.

i did mine by hand - nets took some time but now very happy with the result- people did that before machines ha ha :knitting:

We've had a number made at Textiles Sur at Las Chafiras both for TF and for home (bought back as hand luggage when the allowance was a bit more flexible). Not the cheapest but we did go for the more expensive fabrics. They do have a waiting list so you may need to wait a week or so to get the job done.

Thanks to all with your suggestions.
I took them to the little shop in Gran Sur (suggested by EssexEddie) because it's local to us, they will be ready for our return in a couple of weeks!
Reasonably prices and I will let you all know the results later.

Do let us know as its handy for us in Torviscas Alto. I'll have a look for the place when we're out in just over a week.

Its at the top of the Mall at the oposite end to the cinema.
