Does anyone know if the Thomson Majesty has a laundry room or at least an ironing room.

Does anyone know if the Thomson Majesty has a laundry room or at least an ironing room.

It certainly has a laundry room and a full laundry service. There is lots of information about it on the Internet.

Really just wanted be able to iron stuff that will get creased in the cases.

I've just found this on the internet about Thomson cruise ships......

"Irons are not provided and there is a note in your cabin that you should not use irons or hair dryers (hair dryer are provided in bathroom). Laundry services are available including ironing but 1.50 per shirt, more for dresses etc."

**my son has been at sea for 28 years and he has never heard of anyone being thrown overboard for breaking simple rules....buy a cheap travel iron, but don't burn the furniture or bedding!** :-))

No there is not a laundry room but we were offered 3 garments each for free pressing the day we arrived there was a note in our cabin to leave them for the Steward.

No there is no laundry room but when we arrived there was a note in our cabin saying we could have 3 items each pressed for free on day of arrival and to leave them for the Steward .

This is the ships plan and it does show a laundry and dry cleaning facilities, but what level of service they offer....well?? :dontknow:

Maybe what needs clarifying is are we talking about a service laundry or a self service laundrette on board the ship! :-)

I think that is the problem Ecky it is not a self service Laundry but one you pay for and it is done for you also dry cleaning The day before departure they offered us to give them a bag full of washing to be washed and ironed for 29Euros so you could take home clean clothes and no dirty washing
