Mobile data in Tenerife

Hi, I recently moved to Tenerife from the UK and still have my english phone contract with an english phone company. I am able to use my phone here to make calls and texts however I don't have any internet data, meaning I am only able to use the interent when I have wifi. Obviously this isn't ideal when I'm out, I've looked into buying a spanish sim card but then I will lose my english number. Does anyone know of any way round this? Thank you!

Or buy a really cheap phone to put your UK SIM card into, so that you can still receive calls and texts. Put your new Spanish SIM card into your internet-capable smartphone.

Buy a phone that takes two SIM cards, one English, one Spanish.
