Advice wanted in opening a retail business in Tenerife

Hello,

We would welcome some advice on the possibility of opening a retail business in Tenerife. We currently have a shop in Greece but this is seasonal and would prefer the all year round season in Tenerife for our business.

We would like some advice on the following:
1. How easy is it to find and lease suitable retail premises?
2. How easy is it to set up a business as a British national? E.g tax number etc?
3. How easy to set up the legal side of the business?
4. Any advice on estate agencies/ solicitors/ business advisors / accountants

Any other advice and suggestions will be most welcome.

1. move here for a year rent a flat live and have a good look around Tenerife deciding where you would like to live and trade.
2. on the other hand do not leave it for too long as I believe Tenerife is at the start of a boom in holiday makers and residents who a looking for a place to visit live or retire which is safe, warm and culturally European.
3. as many other expates have moved here having families, starting businesses for the last 40 years all problems are surmountable.
