Just read in the local that the Carnival in LC is Sunday 6th March. Have heard so many conflicting dates.
The burial of the Sardine is 14th March.

Does that mean the Parade from Arona Gran hotel to the town hall is on Sunday March 13 th, usually about 4 pm ?

Not according to the local paper, but who knows. Its Tenerife, anything can happen.

Went to the link from tfs1 for the Arona website & I think it confirmed exactly what I had deducted about time & place.

However me with EE, you cannot ever be 100% certain in Tenerife.

What does bother me though is the difficulty to get proper information about these sort of things locally as this is a big event spread over almost 3 hours & will have needed much arranging including getting the police to close the road to traffic. And how will this impact on the Sunday market ?

same as every year for the market , no parking outside market and traders pack up a little early to avoid problems getting stock to vehicles , but other than that same as a normal sunday , parade suppose to start at 5pm

Events start from 4 March and the main parade in Los Cristianos is on Sunday 13 March starting at 1600 at Paloma Beach - its loud and colourful and always starts late ! The large stage is currently being constructed in the parking area next to the Valdes Centre.
