Hi,
I know silly question but it is so cold here in England I can't imagine it being warm.
So my question is what type of coat should I bring for sitting out in the evening please ? a jacket, cardigan, raincoat type, or fur (hope not the fur !).
If you could spare a couple of minutes to pop an anwer I would be grateful.
Thank you .

Not sure about the raincoat, if it rains the Chinese street sellers appear in their hundreds with umbrellas :rain: for sale, but certainly a jumper for sitting out in the late evenings.

Agree, it also depends where you are, eating out nearer the coast and up in the hills its a little cooler - but Im sure you know that already.

I don't even know why your on this thread, as you can't even afford a new vest, the one that you were wearing last year in Tenerife had holes all over it.

I'm actually in Tenerife now and staying in Amarilla Golf. I didn't realise how very windy it is here - all the time apparently and according to our residential neighbours. We have been spending our days in Los Cristianos where it is 4 degrees warmer. On returning home it's surprising to see the Amariliians in coats -I kid you not, winter coats! We have booked into Los Gigantes for few days for a bit of a break from it. Beautiful place if you love golf and the views are fab but on Mothers Day I looked like the mother of Frankinstein by the time I reached the restaurant ...
