Experience of bringing dog to tenerife

Hi all, we are moving to Tenerife approx end of April. Will be in amarilla golf area. We have a golden lab who is almost 10. We have had his jabs and done his passport etc but now getting really worried about bringing him.

Anyone had experience in taking a lab over? I worry the heat will be just too much for him and also worry he'll get so stressed on the flight he won't make it.

We brought a Rough Collie(Lassie dog)over to the Amarilla Golf like you and although she was 11 years old she survived for 8months,we thought that gave her an end of life that she would have liked.
