BRAD Pitt and fellow Hollywood A-Lister Marion Cotillard are to film scenes of their next movie in Gran Canaria, although London is cited as their main base.
The Gran Canaria scenes will take place in at least three places in the island capital of Las Palmas, especially in Triana’s Plaza de Cairasco.
The film, entitled Allied, is described as a romantic thriller, set in North Africa and London in the Forties. It is about the love story between an intelligence officer, Pitt, and Cotillard’s French Resistance fighter.
Allied is to be directed by Robert Zemeckis and other actors involved include Jared Harris, Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex) and Matthew Goode, of Downton Abbey.
