El Médano. What are your thoughts on the area?

Off tomorrow to look at a property in the La Pelada area of El Médano.

Apart from "wind" as an issue, what does anyone think of the general area, anyone have things they would specifically ask about?

Also, does anyone know what the Broadband is like in that area?

I live in Los Abrigos and go to El Medano for the beach. There are some great restaurants and shops and a lovely atmosphere. The only thing I don't like is the noise from the planes which is the same reason I am looking to move from Los Abrigos. I thought I would get used to it but after 2 mths it still bothers me.
