Hi All

i,m travelling to los christens from the airport south,we have tried many means,coaches,booked taxis we are thinking of getting a taxi when we land

what is the best taxi company to use

we are 2 adults and 2children aged 13

Just exit the airport turn right and the taxis are there.There maybe a queue but you will soon have one available.
15/20 minutes and you should be in the resort of Los Cristianos.

As imablue says there might be a queue waiting for a taxi, but the longest I've ever had to wait is ten minuits, the one tip that I can give you is to write down your destination to show the taxi driver, some of them (very few) try to earn a few extra euros by pretending that they didn't understand you and take you to the wrong hotel/apartment etc. The cost to Los Cristianos is about €20 - €22 plus a small supplement for cases.

Doesn't apply. They are all official Taxis licensed by Granidilla, with the same charges on the meter.

That's not completely true as the total price paid on a official taxi can vary from driver to driver, as they do have a tendency to add extra supplements or go to a given destination by different routes.:)

Save time queing outside the airport, book it in advance. Tenerife official taxis website. You will be asked for your destination address and you can book a return trip at the same time. Its a great service. There is an official desk as you exit arrivals, let them know who you are and they will escort you to your taxi, help you with your bags and they will also ensure you all have a ice cold bottle of water. Can't fault it.

Having used Official Taxi Tenerife I can say I highly rate them.
We arrived at their desk in arrivals, we all received a bottle of water and were guided out to a taxi rank where a mini bus appeared and our gear was loaded. We were taken to the accommodation and helped off with the luggage.

On pick up they were here early and helped withe the luggage, to the point that the driver sprinted over to my wife and prevented her from obtaining a luggage trolley, insisting it was his job and it was part of the service.

The drivers were safe and friendly, the vehicles were well kept and efficient and the staff at the airport were very helpful.

we were quoted before we went 35 euros from the official taxi company to our hotel,when we arrived we used the taxi outside ,23 euros and no issues ,we went down to do some shopping 5 euros there and back when another night and 6euros 40 .the driver advised us after 10pm price changes ,is this correct why would 10 pm be the change and not midnight,

have you looked at the shuttledirect website. we've used them the past 10 years. there is a man with a board waiting for you at arrivals and they usually use minibuses so there is no problem carrying things.

Hi, have just read some very bad reveiws on shuttle direct, not turning up mostly, I am travelling over Xmas/ny

Just a bit concerned as we have a return flight back to birmingham on 2/1/18 flight 6.40am. So need to be picked
Up for about 4am would like a transfer that would turn up at that time in the morning.

As I've posted on another thread , friends of ours used Viva Transfers last week from airport to Sunset Bay resort and return
€22 approx each way, met in arrivals with name board
They were well pleased with service and cost
