we are going to los cristianos soon is there a lidl near or aldi ,or can you recommend the best supermarket for shopping please

there no aldi here on the island. lidl is here the near is lidl but its on the motorway heading to las chafias. the best supermarket you have and very cheap is tu trebol in los cristanos on the other side of the fountain on the left side of the apts. and farmania you can´t miss it

Lidls location in Las Chafiras is only really accessable if you have a car.

Trebol is large and clean but in recent years seems to have fallen out of favour by many for some reason, you will also find Dial Prix, Coviran, HyperDino and Iceland locally and a couple of Mercadonas towards PDLA - all are a short or reasonable walk depending where you are staying in Los Cristianos.

Many will deliver those big shops (should you have one !), some for a small charge, rather than you having to struggle back with a small shopping trolley and carrier bags etc. Of coourse there is always the option of getting a taxi for the return - taxi charges are reasonable.

If you were thinking about buying spirits I recommend Spanish Style - the Los Cristianos branch is close to the Trebol supermarket. There is also 'Dianas' - near Admiral Travel.

we are staying AT HG tenerife Sur and are looking at hiring a car and doing a bulk shop at Lidls in Las chafiris whats your thoughts

we were staying not far from Tu treble and it was clean and good ,but we are looking at wine and local beer for the whole holiday ,also meat and soft drinks

Hire a car from Autoriesen from the airport and lidl is on the way to Los Cristianos that's what we do all the time

Better to hire car from airport and as I said go to lidil in Chafiris as its on your way to Los Cristianos my car just over a week ago cost 68 euro for 8 days! max in peak about 120 euro.
