Gibraltar moving toward Spanish authority

After prominent 95%+ proEU vote in Gibraltar, the Spanish immediately and opportunistically claimed more authority toward Gibraltar.

What do you folks think about UK swapping Tenerife for Gibraltar and we all will be happy and feel safer about being in foreign territory?!
