Does anyone know anything about Chayofa Country Club? Have emailed and tried to phone to enquire about making a booking there, but no answer to email and uk phone number is unavailable.
There is also an online live chat facility that also doesnt seem to be working.
I have looked on facebook but there only seems to be an unofficial page and even that one isnt up to date with comments.
Thanks
Thought it was a timeshare place. Stayed there for a week some years ago found a rental on Owners abroad, apartment was ok - we had a car as its on the otherside of TF1.

Thanks tfs1, our friends stayed there a few years ago, booking direct on their website, but they are trying to book again and as I say no answer to emails etc, just wondered if everything was ok, seems odd that no-one answers when you are trying to make a booking!
Just in case...

Yes thanks, they are the two email addresses we have tried, also that is the phone number that is unavailable - just seems odd that it is so difficult to contact them.
Then alarm bells should be ringing in your head......it is still timeshare!!!!

...............hit with a 1.6m Euro fine for breach of its construction licence by operating as a hotel when it should have been solely used as a residential development.
maybe thats the reason they arent answering the phone etc.

Maybe it adds a little bit of "Buyer beware" caution to your original thread. Re: Conveyancing solicitor/Financial Adviser/ Estate agent wanted in Tenerife

just a tad...
Minor discrepancies in taxation bands (classes as to say), would've worked out differently back at home... ;)

Thanks everyone - our friends have stayed there in the past as a private rental so think it was only part timeshare.
Yes have also seen that article but it starts off talking about Regency Country Club which I believe is just down the road from Chayofa CC so wasnt sure which complex the article was actually about.
