This is another reason why people should not purchase expensive (or any) items from the multitude of bazar style shops in both Los Cristianos and Las Americas, unfortunetly some of these shops appear to be genuine authorised dealers of cameras and sunglasses.

Thank god for that , it has taken long enough to get to grips with it . What a name Tenerife has had over the years with these crooks .
I once told one if them I would not buy a box of matches from them , he said to me that one would be along in a minute and that
is all he needed , one tourist a day . What a @@@@@@@ !!!

Which goes to prove warnings Years ago were correct, especially along the prom and eugenio.

sadly there are a few good shops, but the difficulty is knowing WHICH.
