Salou

Thinking about taking grandson to Salou in July anyone got any recommendations for decent hotels or self catering apartments that will have plenty children of his age and plenty for him to do. Also any other tips on the Salou area itself :tiphat:

Jim, it might be worth looking at Trip Advisor, for the children it talks mainly about a nearby 'Theme Park' and some of the hotels.
Lots of chatter about WindSurfing and Rocky secluded beaches.

we have been to Salou a couple of times in the past and I must say we really enjoyed it.

Can't comment on hotels suitable for children though. The theme park is Portaventura and I know there is a hotel there. Good theme park for children (and us adults).

I would try and get a flight to Reus its a small airport very near to Salou ,unlike Barcelona which is about 2 hours drive.
