Oil Leaked

A lorry has leaked oil on the tarmac outside my house. What is the best method to use to try and clean or dissolve this? Do I use detergent, disolvente, aqua fuerte etc. Any advice would be appreciated as it picks up on the tyres of my car. Thank you.

sand can be used to absorbe the oil then an old mope with water and washing up liquid will take care of the rest

Try Coca Cola.

Pour a bottle of coke on the oil spill and let is soak for a few hours. Then take a hose (ideally one that has a strong pressure) and rinse the area.

If you cannot get a hose to the area hopefully an old mop and plenty of water should do the trick.
