THE body of a man, who had drowned in Fuerteventura, was found floating some 15 metres from Cofete beach, on Monday at around 1.30pm. Emergency services were notified and an ambulance and emergency helicopter were sent to the scene, but to no avail. His body was flown to the airport, where police took charge.
