Hi,

We are going on holidays to Tenerife, one of things that we are really interested to visit is Teide and to use cable car to get to (almost) the summit of the mountain. As we won't rent a car we have to get to Teide by bus.

I know that there is 342 bus that I can take to get to cable car. I can see on Titsa page that there is only one bus a day. Because of that I tried to book online ticket for the bus at http://www.tomaticket.es/titsa (I found this online booking page through http://titsa.com/index.php/en/your-buses/news/488-buy-online-your-bus-ticket-to-teide-buy-online-your-bus-ticket-to-teide). However it is only possible to buy tickets to Parador or Portillo destination stops and not for cable car stop. Did anyone tried to book bus ticket online? I am really confused. Moreover even if I buy ticket to Portillo, on my return way I will be getting on the bus at cable car station, so I wonder if there will be my seats waiting for me.

Or maybe I am too much worried about it and there is no problem with getting this bus without booking tickets online? I am especially concerned with returning from teide as I want to get on the bus at cable car station and at the Portillo station.

I've used bus recenly , just pay on bus - should be no problem with seats as not usually fulland there is no "reserved " seat as such.
Just tell driver where you're going - a great value journey with some hairy driving back down !
