Hackers hack!

Hi. I wonder what hackers get from hacking. We have been hacked again and we are at the moment retrieving what could be retrieved. Can you share what you do to prevent these hackers from doing this? We need a more secure way so we won't have to deal with this again. Suggestions?

Thanks! We are also planning to use a password management system (https://www.beyondtrust.com/solutions/enterprise-password-management/) that will protect all our accounts because I've heard that most of the companies we work with is already using it.

These are simply individuals that open accounts to post 'spam', they are not true hackers as their sole purpose is simple annoyance, not to to steal personal information....just hoards of mindless pests!
