I've never found a bad place, just some that are better than others and as for discounts, well
I'm extremely rich and would never bother with these sort of dealings! :D

Our favourite restaurant gives us 20% off food & drinks, we are possibly their longest customers, sad we cannot be in Tenerife for the forseeable future.

We too Leam Lin get discounts from out favourite chinese and Indian restaurants , mind you with what I have spent in them over the years we could have bought it .
Ithink our only bad meal was in the Aberdeen Steakhouse many years ago before we knew about them Istill would not have a meal in any of them for free .
How are things with you Leam Lin , are things any easier for you both yet ?

Discounts, you either pay tourist prices, or go back a few times and get a discount, or spend many many weeks or live there, and pay the proper price!:whistle:

Thanks Blondie, ct scan & chest xray are clear, we are waiting results of the bone marrow biopsy, should know Thursday if the chemo is working, the doctors had to stop the chemo due to the fact Jim was so low in body & spirit.

That's the very reason for not finding a bad place.......as we do get out a lot and have a good idea by just looking at a place to see if it's bad or not!!:nono:

I've never asked for a discount or expected one, but I do find that we often get a 'proper liqueur' given to us at the restaurant at the end of a evening meal, not the general tourist drink....although not always.

if you are looking for a bad place then go in the indian spice2 up from san eugenio shopping mall we went in last tuesday on of the worse meals we have had in tenerife plus we had a set menu the cost was more than we were told but when i ask why they said tax i will not say here what i told him but he was in no doubt what i thought of him

Tub, no more than say 2 hours ago we were at the bus stop outside of where you say and i considered saying to my other half shall we go in and try here.
I didnt and we jumped the bus upto El Corral chicken house in Adeje Town.
Am i just so happy to know we made the right choice, thank you for your heads up, at least we know not to even consider that place ever again.
By the way El Corral is brilliant, just by the Collegiate in Adeje ,near to El Galeon Mall.
Go give it a a try.

We don't eat out much, but I know the Chef at Our Hotel.

We tend to look for decent Entertainment and used to be regulars at a few Bars because of this.

One Holiday (2 weeks) We had 7 free drinks at various places which included (@Ecky Thump) one from a Scottish couple. Braw People too.

Doesn't happen in this part of U.K.!!!!!
