Desperate search for Plymouth man, 21, who has gone missing in Tenerife
The family of Caine Beattie, 21, from Pennycross, Plymouth, England are pleading with anyone who knows of his whereabouts to come forward after he went missing on Wednesday, July 12.
Caine, who battles with mental health, has not taken medication in six weeks and is thought to have taken a one-way flight to Tenerife in a bid to escape returning to the Glenbourne Unit - an acute hospital for people suffering from mental health problems, after being told by his care worker that he would be sent back to the unit.
His family believe that he has been mugged as the money and passport he went with, he no longer has. They also believe he has not had anything to eat or drink and maybe sleeping outside in the hot weather.
