Looks like Jet2 are joining the MOLeary Club now charging £2.50 to guarantee cabin bags to go in the cabin.
Can't be much more airlines can charge for, except toilets, can there??

Seems at odds with Insurance guidelines that state electric items & meds should be carried in hand luggage ?Looks like time for the coat with poacher's pockets again !

It's funny, but I have never had an issue with Ryanair and my cabin bag.

I have never found Jet2 to be "low cost", except on the very rare occasions. RA have always been cheaper. Still some people swear by Jet2. I wonder if they know on average the age of a Jet2 plane is 20 years old compared to 5 years for a RA.

At long last someone who agrees with me . I have always found their prices to be off the scale . Its a high price to pay for 22kgs of luggage !!!

Yes jet2 prices from Glasgow any thing but low fares hence why i always fly Ryan Air from Prestwick and handy as i can park at my work just across the runway.

I think this is reasonable price for 2 bags in airline

As usual it is the final price you pay with all the add ons which determine the best value. I suppose the frustration is that every now and again airlines come up with a new offering to extract more money from people after the initial price appears on the website. Perhaps more clarity in saying this is the base price and clearly listed extras.

For information RA now have Flash sale some prices to TFS £30 plus seats, bags priority boarding etc. Ends Tuesday midnight
