Does anyone know when the Golf del Sur/Amarilla Golf is due to get connected to fibre phone lines/internet?

LUCKY down in picturesque Lower Golf del Sur is already connected by Ferret Optic.

i didnt know there were any plans to start on GDS ?

Good News - fibre optic cables have now been laid around Amarilla Golf.

On the 11th October I noticed guys in high vis working out of a plain white van who were pulling cable into some of the underground chambers in the pavements so I asked them if it was fibre optic cables - and they are.

They said they were working for Movistar and they reckoned it would be 2 months yet before the service is actually live and available to rent but at least the cables are now in place.

Amarilla Golf is about to join the fast lane for internet connections :)
