driving R/H car in Tenerife

Hi can anyone tell me how long I can drive a car on Irish plates in Tenerife before I have to put it on to Spanish plates,
many thanks.

That's what I am hoping, just like someone to confirm if possible. I brought a R/H drive car over some years ago and it cost a lot of money to put it on to Spanish plates, this time I would like to drive for six months and bring it back to Ireland, we are hoping to do six months in Tenerife and six months back here in Ireland for the future.
