I'll not see the Barca game as we fly back to Ireland from Tenerife on the 23rd.
Enjoy your time Sean, hope you bring the luck with you.

You better say hello and Hail Hail this visit lad! Me at the Whiskey Jar or herself in the Hoops Bar. And totally agree, Hooper played the perfect Euro centre forward role, brilliant he was, Lenny and Mjallby's experiences are helping him i think.

My only betting tip for anyone is, if someone keeps winning/losing, it will come to an end, so....money on the hoops Shug! For next 3 away games, may win one!

So Shug, DID you back the Hoops?

Should have taken your advice Seano.....my losing run on both the footie & horses continues.
Went for the draw.....
Did see the highlights.....looked a very impressive performance from the Hoops....well done.
You don't want me betting them to qualify now though....that'd be the kiss of death!

Reckon you have a fair chance of qualifying now ,as Spartak & Benfica could take points from each other.
Tough double header with Barca, but a point or more would be a bonus !

Enjoy.

Thought I’d post a few lines, as your wee thread is looking rather threadbare these days.

Strange to my thinking as Celtic FC are probably looking forward to the most successful period in their history.
Barring a catastrophic loss of playing personnel, I fully expect your club to win the SPL for around the next 10-15 years, In addition Champions League Football for the foreseeable future……this year being an extremely good opportunity to reach the play off stages thus ensuring more revenue and as a result more success on and off the park.

I do realise, given the lowly status of Scottish Football in general, that Celtic may lose some of their more “ambitious?” players, who may fancy a foray into the EPL to join clubs, who perhaps may be living on past glories, though paying more cash and have more fancy looking fixtures on offer, aside the CL matches.

I have chatted with close friends who are followers of your club, who are a little dismayed at the lack of interest being shown from a fair percentage of your supporters given the present circumstances and the lack of a real challenge in the SPL…..they are of the opinion it is time to stand up & support the club in difficult times

I have my own views on this…….but that is for your own support to live with and sort out…….” Faithful through & through”…….not so far this season..IMO.

Perhaps a little more emphasis on your own club’s achievements and less time talking sh%te about other irrelevant clubs may help your cause.

Unfortunately your support are adding fuel to the argument that they hate another (irrelevant club, that does not even exist) more than they love their own….sad really….but wire in.

Unfortunately showing you lot up for what you are....but heyho:cheeky:

Gracias Amigo; its a 1pm rendezvous in The Hoops Bar, mini bus to TFS at 15.30, Barcelona E.T.A. ( oops that disnae look clever) 2200 hrs. Digs near Placa Catalunya. Debate on our websites about meeting place on match day, seems to be a rumour of it being Placa Espanyol instead of Catalunia, no worried though (used to have a Catalunian burd, so will enjoy wherever i go). We got Barca home tix, behind goal, will cover our colours as a mark of respect (have Ceitic/Barcelona scarves anyway from previous Celtic Park encounters and fans have always had a decent relationship) before K.O. Wee Irish wife is hyper now. Hail Hail, again thank you for the post. Seano. PS drink? ME? Aye! PPS , they shipped 4 goals the night. Just sayin!

St Mirren comfortably disposed of with some good performances though we were a little slack in defence at times .
This will be punished by Barca if we don't tighten up our focus !
They might have shipped 4 Sean but they scored 5 - akin to Jock Stein's plan , score more than the opposition!
Have a great time & experience in Barcelona - this is what we strive to be involved in !

Seano

Have a lovely time in Barcelona……but, as you will probably know I’d avoid the side streets off Las Ramblas late doors…………………..

Nice to see members the “Brains Trust” are still posting on the side from Govan’s thread.

A post from the most learned on all matters relating to football and indeed company/football matters intimated that as Rangers had a new company registration and VAT registered number that they were indeed a different club.

Amazing what happens when you do not steal all of your ideas from other websites and pass them off as your own thoughts………

The post was hastily removed, although perhaps not quickly enough……..the BT member realising that in fact Celtic were allocated a new Co. & Vat number in 1994.

End of the day it’s still funny.

PS…….Hope you get pumped tomorrow (Old habits die hard)

Great effort by Celtic to hold out so long! How many times have we nicked it in dying seconds?
Wonderful performance by Foster to keep us in game , I just hope the team take all the positives from their efforts .
I'm sure Sean and all the other magnificent supporters will wake up (eventually) today proud to be wearing the Hoops in Barcelona!
Neil Lennon must be bursting with pride with his team and club - great ambassadors for our game!

Back on Tenerife, never want to hear anyone complain of drink price or want a "locals" discount again! Barcelona, great city, fans and team. Celtic F.C.- just great, period. All my Tenerife pals that went, will never forget the long spell of Barca trying to break us down while we held firm and caused a few scares too. Tragic ending but exceeded expectations. this YOUNG team is a joy to follow. And there is only ONE NEIL LENNON. Oh, i hope to not hear "dont sell McCourt" for a very long time! Forster really had the Barca fans gasping( we were in among them behind Forster 1 st half).

Sobered up after a day on black stuff to kill the pain of very poor performance by Celtic.
This game had all the hallmarks of Celtic team playing blindman's football but kicking the sh@t out of the Blackpool Donkey on the beach instead of the ball with the bells on !
Poor passing , running about like Zombies and not taking few chances they made gave the Killie Boys an easy ride, then poor pass back was suicide .
Crisis at Celtic Park- is Neil close to being sacked ?
Will have to buck up ideas for Tuesday or St. Johnstone will duff us up on their form!

Early kick off against the Arabs today- can't see Forrest, Sammy or Brown starting . Possibly Hooper on bench so maybe Miku will get a start if he hasn't tripped over his petted lip and partner Watt up front .
Kayal has to put in a performance to justify being there imo as he has been below par .
Hopefully focus is on today's game as United can be tricky and will want to atone for cup exit during week .

Careless last 10 minutes with game in bag - losing focus too often!
Should fine them a week's wages for jumping into crowd and getting booked - or do away with stupid rule !
Nice to see Miku getting off mark though ! Commons on a different planet today I thought , his passing was poor and lost the ball too many times .

Thought Commons would be hooked earlier too JJ, poor game today. I did predict a Miku goal, happy with that. Young team as we keep saying, but they need to learn fast, other teams will put that pressure on us now, dont want another nervy defence like we did a few seasons back, with Big Danny. Unlucky too really, with the O.G. , no panic yet, but we dont want to see late goals haunt us all season. Watt took his goal well.

He's being rated as some type of fitness and psychology guru - when you consider nearly all our first team outfield are carrying injuries of some sort ,we need to do something different to improve their resilience and robustness !
Earlier in season we were discussing the size of Squad and had cut out a lot of due ad wood - now we may have to add in January ( should be plenty of Hearts players available!)
Seems a popular addition , unless you are Donegal GAA supporter!

A coming of age

Masterminding the unlikeliest of victories against Barcelona has thrust Celtic manager Neil Lennon into the European spotlight

OLDER. Calmer. Wiser. That’s the prevailing view of Neil Lennon these days. No longer feuding with officials but instead focused on bringing the best out of his team, as he did so impressively against Barcelona on Wednesday night. Yet the old fire is still in there, too. After Tony Watt made it 2-0, the 18-year-old striker tore away from Javier Mascherano again and was barged by the Argentina international as he threatened to score a third goal for Celtic. The referee completely ignored the foul and the fourth official faced Lennon’s ire at that cop out.

It is the combination of his passion and the icy decision-making we saw last week that makes Lennon such a formidable proposition as a manager at the tender age of 41. When his touchline confrontation with Ally McCoist was hysterically blown out of all proportion in March 2011, he quietly noted many similar incidents previously had not received such coverage. He mentioned this again last April, when Sir Alex Ferguson and Roberto Mancini had to be kept apart during a tense Manchester derby as the race for the English Premier League title intensified.

Potently mixing reason with galvanising emotion is the mark of any elite football manager. As Ferguson mellowed, slightly, from the Pittodrie firebrand of the early 1980s into the version seen at Manchester United, so, too, will Lennon. If Ferguson can still erupt occasionally aged 70, then Lennon will not always be able to release his feelings as judiciously as he did in a rousing team talk before Wednesday’s match.

It was inspired by the previous night’s service to mark 125 years since Celtic’s formation. “I just felt something in the air the night before when I was at the anniversary ceremony at St Mary’s, just the atmosphere and the ambience,” he said. “It was a reflection on the history of the club, which you do think about but you don’t really know the whole story. I got a wee bit of a kick out of it and thought, ‘Could it be our night tomorrow?’”

Yet later that same night, Scott Brown, his captain, succumbed to a virus, throwing Lennon a selection curve ball. He was already without Gary Hooper, his leading striker, Emilio Izaguirre, his regular left-back, and James Forrest, whose pace is another important part of his tactical toolkit. Instead of lamenting their absences, he cleverly blended them into his pre-match address to his remaining players, reminding them of a duty to maintain this season’s European progress on behalf of their missing colleagues.

Celtic sailed through the qualifiers against HJK Helsinki and Helsingborgs IF, winning all four of their matches to an aggregate of 8-1. If a 0-0 draw with Benfica on opening night of the Champions League was a slight stutter, the accomplished 3-2 win over Spartak Moscow in the Russian capital was Celtic’s first away one in the group stage at the 19th attempt. It was a gorilla off their back and that showed in the mature performance they produced at Camp Nou, where Barcelona required Jordi Alba’s goal three minutes and 16 seconds into stoppage time to win 2-1.

That performance was widely lauded but it still grated with Lennon that his men hadn’t quite seen it through. He didn’t want them to be gallant losers, didn’t want Barcelona to leave Glasgow praising the incredible atmosphere politely after securing another three points. “People are not just talking about the atmosphere and the spectacle, they are talking about the team,” he noted with obvious satisfaction on Friday.

It has been assembled astutely using the expertise of John Park, the club’s coveted football development manager, but also a large measure of Lennon’s judgment on key signings such as the prolific Hooper and the versatile Charlie Mulgrew, who had previously been discarded by the club. Celtic’s starting line-up and substitutes on Wednesday cost less than £7m; Barcelona’s more than £160m, despite the three best players in it, Leo Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi Hernandez, all being products of their vaunted youth academy. In the closing stages, they pushed on three World Cup winners, David Villa, Cesc Fabregas and Gerard Pique, as substitutes.

In Lennon’s line-up, there were several towering performances. Victor Wanyama, signed for £900,000 from Germinal Beerschot of Belgium, was a midfield colossus, suggesting his manager’s recent £25m valuation of him in response to interest from Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal might not have been so fanciful after all. Fraser Forster’s display again justified his belated call-up by England after being overlooked for the Euro 2012 finals last summer. Adam Matthews was a revelation at left-back, coping, in turn, with Messi’s guile and Pedro’s pace.

It was partly a desire not to move the Welshman from that post that saw Lennon send on Watt, signed for £80,000 from Airdrie United in January 2011. His pace terrorised Mascherano and eventually led to Alba being instructed by an alarmed Tito Vilanova, Barcelona’s coach, to use his speed as an antidote to Watt’s in the closing moments rather than as an auxiliary attacker.

Alba had already been constricted by a canny performance from Kris Commons, who showed hitherto unsuspected defensive awareness. “He was brilliant in the role he had to play, he made so many interceptions,” said Lennon. “His fitness levels were fantastic and he’s added another dimension to his game. He’s put himself in trouble now. He’s going to have to play like that defensively from now on because he has shown me he can do it when he puts his mind to it. He used all his savvy and sacrificed a lot for the team, that’s a real string to his bow.”

Lennon has also displayed a range many of his detractors previously argued he did not possess. He was viewed initially with suspicion as a populist appointment and Celtic considered giving him a more experienced minder. They offered that role to Gordon Strachan last year, shortly before Celtic rallied from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 at Kilmarnock and began eating into Rangers’ lead at the top of the Premier League.

Importantly, Rangers were overhauled before their subsequent financial meltdown and points deduction. That allowed Lennon to establish he would have succeeded in delivering Celtic’s first title for four years in any case.

“I am a work in progress,” he said. “It does irk me that people say, ‘He’s learning from his mistakes.’ Every manager makes decisions one way or the other. They work for you or they don’t, otherwise you would win every game. Even the greatest managers lose games. Is that a mistake? That’s never thrown at them. Do they learn from their mistakes? Come on. What you learn from is your experiences, the good ones and the bad ones, and you try and minimise the bad experiences and make the most of the good ones.” Wednesday’s win was certainly the latter.

Tough away game for Celtic today. I hope the players keep full concentrated and didn´t think about the Benfica game yet.
The other teams in Scotland are always motivated and if Celtic give less % it could be difficult. Celtic have to focus on
that game. Hail Hail!

Competent enough display today for 0-2 victory but we should be taking our chances with these arial set- pieces , 3 good chances missed in 1st half !
2nd half better performance and dominance to see game out comfortably so we can now turn our attention to Tuesday´s Benfica game and hope for something from it .
Several key players injured but hopefully fit for the game . Hail! Hail!

Agreed T-lish, its a MASSIVE ask, hopes are so high, just hope we play our away game, and dinae get carried away, injuries aside, we have a good squad and Euro mindset. Young bench today, again correct. (said to herself, worth backing Mulgrew to score every game soon as he was overdue). The result is good. A look ahead: I see a very tough away game in the
Champions League. The Celtic team is young. Its the first year in the
CL. I agreed with Timmylish. The game will be much more difficult
as the two Barca games. A draw in Lisbon would be fantastic.
The last years away performances have gone up, apart from Sion(away)

the game. Hail Hail!

Exactly as I had feared. Broonie could be finished I,m afraid. Ledley looks half the player from last season, Wanyama is knackered by being played in every game SPL and Europe and Charlie, well is he a midfielder? So, to summarise, we were totally outplayed thru' ther middle of the park and that was the simple reason for this defeat. Add to that Georgiobhoyo not being fully fit and playing with that. Finally, our left hand side of the park never got going at all, the area that we have become accustomed to either dominating, in Scotland or holding our own in Europe. So, lenny has a couple of weeks to ensure that key players sre FULLY fit for Spartak and that he gets the "to-getherness" back.
A very personal view on to-night,s defeat. I am certainly not dispirited and hope the players are similarly not. I honestly believe that we shall prevail. We shall beat the Ruskies (and a Scot !) and a second eleven from Barca will be good enough to beat Benfica.

It was always gonna be a tough ask to go out there and get a result...they're no pushovers on their home patch.
But I was disappointed with Celtic's ball retention...or lack it.
There was no composure in the team at all tonight.
Benfica deserved the points tonight and were the better team throughout...so no complaints really.
The main thing is...it's in our hands.

Football - wise, Timmy , i cannot find a flaw in your post. Would only add that we have over-achieved with Barca games , and could have taken a hiding, both legs, plus tonight. Benfica v Barca and us v Spartak....its actually a nightmare now, because of expectations, but we will be in Europe after the year, in my book that is MASSIVE. The 2 home games in the league and cup will be tough with injured players - there is also a boycott by Green Brigade and some supporters for these 2 games due to excessive overpolicing and Stewarding of the fans at Celtic Park .
The police are being accused of harrassment of GB members at ground and at home and accuse Celtic of supplying information to help them !
So the crowds will be even lower than usual - Celtic have denied giving information to Police but how else would they get names and addresses of supporters?

Good shows in Finland , Sweden, Moscow and Barcelona, all being undone by a really poor league campaign. Still Hibs lost, still a point up and a game in hand. It must be the lack of Rangers that is a factor. When we hit our stride (Dec and Jan no Europe) watch out, i expect a hiding for some. Having said that, teams that come to Celtic Park and play their best of the season are cheating their own fans the rest of the time, raising their game against us only ,will not win any trophies for them.

Strong words after the game with Neil and some fans, strong words in a pub in Tenerife from a guy who has a hotline in texts to a board member (aye right, course you do), saying he goes Sunday!; strong press coverage of a frustrated Lenny stating " if they want me to go i will". It's time to calm down, playing mince but, for once, there's less reason to be scared of the oppostion. Green Brigade v CFC disputes and Lenny v fan disputes are manna from heaven for some, be a heartbreak to feed them, results aside. (and im sure, it will come good soon). It was always going to be a headline when Neil makes comments like that - MSM are desperate to have negative news - I don't think he should have made the comment on the back of the confrontation with the fans ( the same ones who were at him last year in same part of stand?)
Wednesday's game coming up against Hearts ( ESPN 19:30) will be difficult enough without the hubris from the press and Neil's return to the land of " Not Proven" .
Hearts financial demise will I'm sure be the target of some extra ribbing - let's hope we stuff them!

Well at nearly 02.30 I thought that I might be bold enough to pontificate the efforts of our team last night!
A good win I predicted and that was achieved albeith in rather strange circumstances. We came out of the blocks like Bats out of Hell which was a very encouraging start. Thought the lineup just about spot on although I have to say that until about the 80th minute I was inclinded to ask others watching as to which seat in the stand Hooper was sitting on! Other than a pass immediately after the resumtion of play for teh second half I had difficulty in remember seeing him never mind watching him do anything constructive. Right, that,s my neggie out of the way I think! The bhoy Lassad showed that he has two good feet and comfortable on the ball holding up play and scoring a delightful goal. Oh no! Just remembered another negative view, this time of the ref! He was abyssmal in the supreme. How he booked our Ambrose was beyond belief. A straightforward shoulder charge between two competing players. Quite wrong but worse. If he was to be booked then surely the action took place in our penalty area! No complaining mind you. Our big Lurch had a game to be remembered for a long time. His one handed saves were a thing of beauty and skill. He certainly broke a few Hearts (pun intended). Double reaction saves, penalty save (not the worst penalty I,ve seen taken I might add. Now a generalisation of the team. For the first time in memory, we have a physical team capable of standing up for themselves. Sad to say however the ref did not agree and booked 3. Ambrose is a gem. Calm, confident and ball skills of an infinately better known player. Good to see the ball being moved around a lot quicker than recent SPL games. One thing does concern me, however. Teams seem to be able to pass their way thru' our midfield without to much difficulty. The early bookings may have had an affect. Have a look again to see if I,m wrong?
Anyway, on the day of the birth our own Sean, a truly great result and display, overall! HAIL.HAIL.

The team seemed determined to over-complicate every move rather than take a more direct attack at goal .
Good saves by Arbroath keeper kept them in until end but we should have finished them off earlier in game with chances we made .

And the above hijo de put@ should follow. Here he is, supposedly writing an early comment on the game against Spartak and he ends up with a righteous reading on the huns! Unbelievable, soitis.
Unfortunately, prior to reading the aforesaid tripe, I had, until this morning been looking forward, with a degree of confidence borne out of applied reasoning, to the game confident that we would achieve what was required ie. a thumping 3 goal win against the Ruskies. Not because of their excessively reported problems in Moscow but more by the confidence in Lenny, which I hold. Even after Saturday,s crap, his choice of team and inability to get them to lift their game in the 2nd. half I remained conviced of success. Then I turned on the computer and, as usual went to the BBC fitba' pages and got to the 3 rd para. of this http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20210064 and instantly felt a waning of my confidence. Had I been wrong in my feeling after the game in Lisbon. Am I one of the few who just saw it as a game to get out of the way en route to the last sixteen? So I am sitting here feeling slight waves of depression and massive waves of unconfidence. So Beeb, you,ve a lot to answer for as I,ve got to get thru' 3 days, 2 sleepless nights and complete inability to eat properly. I cannot even turn to drink nowadays when, in the past, at least that offered solace. So, if this Forum saw me in a bad light over the last few days (I seem to have been able to cause a gentleman some grief on the subject of tyres, no less) there could now be worse to come!
In advance - SORRY!

At first I thought this expression: "ONE of Scotland’s greatest sportswriters, Jim Traynor" was a joke!
but considering the standard perhaps he was.

Certainly the expression "Scotland’s greatest sportswriters" must be an oxymoron.

To those that don't want to bother reading his rant I'll condense it:
"I'm not bitter and twisted, oh no I'm not, it's youse other guys"

A genuine thank you to you The Bloke. We know you love Man Utd, but to see you appreciate that yes, we did do well to finish above "bottom" was an achievement, and even better, to get into the last 16 and be recognised by you , and any other Champs Lge fan is really nice. We sweated buckets(fans im talking about), played ok, but not great, got the result (and points tally) that matter. It feels really good. Very happy indeed , cheers for recognising the feat, Sean.

Just starting to sober up and realise what has happened !
Thanks to all for good wishes - what an achievement from Lennon and his team , nail biting right to the end- watching Celtic on one screen and Benfica on the other was excruciating but it´s been that type of campaign!
At times Eminenke was rag-dolling our defense and I was panicking but the Bhoys held out with Sammy getting us the late penalty decision -funny to Watch Neil turning his back as Commons stepped up ,the man´s a wimp!- he´ll never make it as a manager!
Incredible result for our status and also financially -I read elswhere there is also a Bonus payment to other SPL clubs of 230K each - that should make up for any Boycotts !
Now time to review the press and see what spin is put on it - the wait for the draw -Hail! Hail!
The draw is on December 20th .

If you mean the team from Salford I agree, SAF needs to strengthen his defense because they are sure missing Nemanja Vidic.
He needs to buy a world class defender when the transfer window opens next month.

Yes I thought McGeady played a blinder for us towards the end giving us free kicks to run out injury time ! All our games in this section were incredibly tense and nail-biting affairs - my nerves have been shredded watching -last night was the most difficult watching both games simultaneously!
Pity the Daily Ranger newspaper chose today to give out their "Birthday Pull Out " for a dead team to minimise our effort by deflection and ensure the huns would buy a paper today!

Well said Caribe! Saw the Daily Record's "greatest Rangers players of all time" link each time i read about the Spartak game, so obvious, makes it all the sweeter. GIRUY- as they once kept telling us.Lads, enjoy, these are the good times. Hail Hail.

PS been pricing and checking flight availability on potential opponents for away leg. My preference order, Bayern, Shalke, Dortmund. Malaga would only be an option if they move stadiums as its so small no chance of match tix. Otherwise it would be number 1. If its Utd, Juve or PSG i would rather go to Glasgow for the home leg.Any thoughts/experiences on all of the above?

timmylish
07-12-2012, 02:57
My preference is the Froggies! Think that they play similar to Barca and, in the main, we dealt with them. The Germans are very, very fast thru' middle to front so I think that would give us problems as our central defence is not quick by any stretch of the imagination. For some reason people seem to be thinking that Malaga would be easy! Too many problems with the Spanish Police at the moment and wouldn,t want our support taking a severe beating there. Played Man U. too often for me. Battle of Britain, my ****! So that leaves the Italianos who I cannot make my mind up about.
On an aside (I,m not lowering myself to comment on the hun press) I loved the dig which Lenny had for the representatives of Hooper and Wanyama taken from the Beeb.

"We are still in negotiations with Gary and Victor. So, if we can get those two tied down, that would be fantastic.
"I'm not too sure too many players will want to leave in January with what we've got coming up."

So we now have the Killie game to look forward to tomorrow 12:30 KO - Neil's 100th game in charge - not bad for someone who has been persecuted, lied to by referees and SFA ,threatened with bombs and bullets, attacked several times - his character , commitment and talent shine through all of this - he didn't walk away like lots hoped he would!
Will be interesting to see what team he parades tomorrow with a few injuries , especially Commons and hopefully Sammy didn't get injured when he was tripped for the penalty !
An extra few million in bank will help stave off Armageddon for a while longer- should also help a few Celtic bars earn a few quid too!

to be in the last 16 is a great achievement for the club. Barcelona, PSG, ManU, Dortmund, Juve,
Malaga, Bayern and FC Sch..censored... e.

Celtic had met 5 teams before. Celtic never play vs Malaga or Schlacke.

Being based in Tenerife, the easiest travel option for away tie is Malaga, but its a very small stadium, doubt tickets would be easy to get. Unless it were to be moved? Unlikely. So 50% chance -ish of me returnng to Deutschland, great, love it. Bayern would be great but a very expensive direct flight. Dortmund awkward, nearest direct flight is Dusseldorf i think. Which makes Schalke easiest/ PSG and Manchester have no appeal, rather go to Glasgow. Turin for Juve? No thanks. Cant wait for the draw.

So it's back to the bread and butter of League football tomorrow against the Buddies from Paisley - our big Derby Game at Celtic Park!
Having successfully negotiated a tricky tie against an unlucky Arbroath and stocked up on Smokies for the Cullen Skink I hope Celtic will buckle down to putting some more points on the board with some style - a big crowd obviously not expected as they are giving away several thousand free tickets to season book holders and hopefully a Bovril as well for those frozen out at Abroath with a -4C temperature !
Not looking forward to going home to cold weather next week either!

Arbroath was a very difficult game. After the early led Celtic concentrate on shake it through the time. It could have go the other way

Rather one-sided with St Mirren coming to defend and little effort to try and win . Referee Murray was again atrocious with several stonewall penalties refused and a few bad fouls ignored !
Not getting the second goal early made our job more difficult but we were way better all around with Victor strolling through game .
Hopefully a run of games now to put some distance on the table between us and the others !
