Diabetes type1 flying home

Hi my wife has been diagnosed with diabetes in Tenerife.Does she need a doctors note to fly home and can l take insulin and epipen and needles into the plane.

Whatever you read on the internet, please ask a doctor. A real, physical doctor, not a forum or website. They will know if anything special needs to be taken into account to fly. Whether you can carry the epipen or not... I would give the airline a ring, and maybe even the airport to be safe.
