We are travelling to Tenerife, for a four month stay over next winter, with our two cockapoos.
They are fed on RAW food on a complete basis (complete = all necessary vitamins for a balanced diet). This is bought frozen and defrosted as required.
Can anyone please confirm if this type of food can be obtained in Tenerife.
Paul

Hi Paul, I used to feed my dogs BARF, an acronym that stands for Bones and Raw Food, or Biologically Appropriate Raw Food before I moved here. Unfortunatly it is not available on the island ( or to be honest, I haven't been able to find it anywhere) I cannot even find tinned food for sensitive dogs!! so I've reluctantly resorted to a good dry food mixed with a reasonable tinned one. I will of course get them back to raw vegetables mixed with the food just as soon as I find the kitchen machine which is hiding in an as yet unpacked removal box!! Good luck anyway, hope someone on here is able to help you.

Thank you so much for your reply Roneecee.
My wife and I are concerned that if we cannot source RAW on the island we will not feel comfortable in fulfilling our dream of spending the coming winter in Tenerife.
I know it sounds OCD, but, our dogs are soooo content with their RAW feed that I feel we cannot subject them to kibble.
Thank you for your comments.
