I also heard that you can get credit on any money left on your old bono cards up to the end of October. You can do this at a bus station.

But they were quite specific saying that each person can only take up to 4 bono cards with credit and each card has to have been issued from Jan 2017 onwards.

Quite fair the January 2017 date,seeing as its near 20 months to September 2018.
Should think most tourists would only pay for a lot less than 4 cards, as for residents, this change to Ten Mas has been in the pipeline for near 3 years.

I was one of the trial users of the new Tenmas card starting last summer. To start with it was awful and I was constantly being overcharged and having to send emails asking for refunds. Happily, it now works well.

Is it right that over 65 year olds now get a 75% discount with this card or is that different?
