Two men believed to have been behind armed raids on banks in the Los Abrigos area have been arrested more than three years after the robberies.
Civil Guard officers in Playa de Las Américas made the arrests on Tuesday.
The suspects are a Romanian and a Moldavian, who are both in their 30s. A total of just over 7000 euros was taken in the raids, which occurred two weeks apart in February and March 2008.
Police say both men have long criminal records, particularly for robbery.
