Help!!!!!!!

Everytime someone replies to a post I have been on, an email comes to me.

Have been into settings, thought I had stopped the emails but have not.

What can I do.

Thanks.

I get the same and it means you have to plough through loads to find your good emails.

Me too!!

I feel better now I know I am not the only one.

Thought it was me being a bit thick, not very good with computers.

Go into general settings and look for the following box;

Default Thread Subscription Mode:

highlight the setting you wish to apply.

Hope this helps

Try this I have just done it and hopefully it will work. Go to setting and click on subscriptions, it should bring up all the threads you are getting e mails for, check the little box next to each one and then underneath is a drop down menu where you can delete the subscriptions.:crossfingers:

Be nice if a mod came on and explained it to us, instead of adding up our points....:surrender:

I think it will continue to do this on any thread you subscribed to,,,,,before you changed the settings, but no emails for any new threads afterwards

The reason I have not come on to explain is not that I am ignoring it but all the suggestions made so far are the same as I would have given.

If nothing has worked then it is an Admin job as mods don't have permissions to deal with E mail matters..It may be a database issue

Just mark everything from TF as spam/junk in your email program.

Simples.

Your profile was set to receive instant notifications. I have changed it so you should OK now.

Pantomime time ... Oh no you didn't :poke:

I have changed your settings to stop most of the emails, but left on the option to receive an email when you have a new PM from a forum member. If you want this stopped too, drop me a PM :)

Slodge i think you are going to be inundated with peeps who cannot stop them themselves. I have had no problem with going into settings and stopping them. I must have special powers.

Sorted..........I think:spin:

The problem most people are having with this is that in their own profile page they are subscribed to threads they join in with, and so receive notifications.

Unsubscribing doesn't lock youo ut, as a lot think, but stops any notifications concerning these threads.

You can still opt to receive notifications concerning PMs or Visitor Messages if you like.

It is not default it is up to each member to set their own profile.
