Been sorting out stuff at my parents house and found my old Amstrad cassette deck.
Its a 1974 Amstrad model 7000 and cost about £30.00-£40.00 when new.
It still works like new. I also found my 1977 Six Million Dollar Man annual.

Still got my leather mini skirt and my suede mini skirt bought in 1966 :)

A scrap book I did when I was 5 years old. Photos taken from magazines. Ladies didn't wear the underwear advertised - they draped it over the arm!! :)

The usual sport days certificates and one for swimming a mile. :)

I have some really old photo's.
Last winter I sorted out quite a few old photo's. some went in the bin (the one's out of focus etc...)
I then crafted with a large frame and took the picture I did not like out. I put in loads of snaps of family from times gone by. This frame is now in the sitting room for all to see and is greatly admired.

I agree. The proudest possessions I wish I had are my dad's medals.

22 years in the RAF and my brother has them....

At least they're in the family.

(Wish I still had my unused Beatles Album collection though..Stored in the UK and Jack Frost stole them)

When my grandad was in burma in the war, this his story, he was given some stones from some slaves.A few small rubys and jades.Me,my mum and my sister all had a ring made from the jade stones.I remeber my father giving my grandad a book about the war in burma and my grandad breaking down.He must of seen some awfull things.

I treasure the ring so much, one day the stone had fallen out and i hunted hi and low for it,felt physiclly sick.I went out to the balcony one day and couldnt belive there was the jade stone laying on the middle of the floor.

I no longer wear the ring as would be devasted if i lost it.
