I have just posted in the general section , to find out more info about the old fort on torvicas seafront , I have heard a rumour that this will be turned into a pool bar from a waitress who worked there last year .

please do not take this to heart but all you taxi drivers, postmen, prison officers etc. that think you can run a good bar better than the people that you are buying the bar from ask yourselve this, how much experience did they have, why are they selling and would they do it again, now ask yourself the same questions and watch all your (Millions) go bye bye xxxxx

Nobody worked at the Fortaleza last year, it's been rubble for 18 months - the small restaurant adjacent to it ( previously known as Crawfordīs) has also changed itīs name - I believe the building is still connected to the Palmer organisation ?
Judging by the speed of work , itīll be next year before itīs finished in think !
It will certainly be in a prime spot but will have to supress noise levels as other ventures in area have been denounced recently for disturbing noise after midnight.

In fairness she did ask for one for rent, thats the only way to take a bar on, its the trespaso that gets paid over and over again thats one of the main killers!

The only winner is the landlord.

To tell the truth, pool bars that can earn any decent profit are for sale not just for rent. Ones that are don't have a good catchment ie no holidaymakers. an example nearby is The Alondras pool bar, Silencio - think its empty again, ask at reception.

Added after 2 minutes:

I'm a Tenerife landlord, and if I had a mortgage on the property I'd be LOSING not winning on the rental deal.
