Definitely Rule Britannia, as long as it's not being sung by drunken football supporters wearing Union Jack paraphernalia.

I have so many favourites, but this has a special place for me. It is the first tune, the theme tune, that was played on the day that Radio 1 was put on the airwaves. I was travelling down to Dover ferry in the back of the car waiting for the station to start up. I'd been counting down the days and then this came on the radio and I thought - WOW!!

I think t most of those already posted are \ Classics.
However I am selecting one that ALWAYS affects Me..
Sung at "The Proms" I think, its for massed Bands and a good Choir.
it starts;,,,,and did those Feet in ancient times......
even the Intro grabs Me.........
I was a boy soprano as a Kid and in two Choirs. Its even better being a part of the Performance..
