Some of you may remember, a few months ago we had a problem with mice in our empty pool. In total, over a period of weeks, we had about 16 in there!

A couple of weeks ago, the pool was finally finished, dodgy pump fixed and was filled with water. Mice gone...

Wrong!!

Whilst sat on the terrace enjoying a cocktail, admiring said pool, all lit up and burbling away, imagine my surprise to spot a mouse taking a late night swim...

Cheeky little blighter! Anybody know where I can buy some floating mouse traps??? :D

It really is high time you got a cat Maxine. Speak to Adolphus ;)

The dog was trying to get it, but he's scared of water (useless ball of fluff) and the mouse sussed this quite quickly, so just swam a little further from the edge... Smart mouse.

However, what he didn't bargain for was me and my large fishing net... scooped the pesky little blighter out and launched it in a pretty cool lacrosse pass right over the wall.... :D

Maxine i had a problem with mice recently, you can buy some traps called Supercat, less than 5€ for 2 and they are awesome, i had 6 in six nights in one trap, now all gone. You can get them in the Ferreteria opposite the Academy and boy do they work! :)

Got some of those thanks Andy, and yes they are very good.... don't work particularly well in pools though! :D

Half expecting to see one on a lilo with a cocktail next...

I'd let them have a quick nibble at the hard skin on my feet first though.... ;)
