Please could some one give me step by step instructions on how to add a photo? I could do it on the other Forum, but this is all different. Thanks, Sharon.

Hit "Reply to thread" then go to "Go Advanced". Click on the paperclip icon, this will open the "Manage Attachments" box. Click on "Add Files" a new box opens. Click "Select Files" and this will allow you to find photos on your PC to upload. Click on your chosen photo and hit "Upload File". Once it's up-loaded click "Done" at bottom.
I've uploaded a couple of donkeys to cheer up reg...

Edit: The easiest way is to join a photo hosting site like Photobucket and upload your photos there, then all you have to do is copy and paste the image link. (Other photo hosting sites are available.:eyebrows:)

Here's the same picture using Photobucket...

If you want to embed an image rather than have it as an attachment that has to be clicked to open, and you have a picture hosted on a web hosting service such as Webshots, Picture Trail, SmugMug, Flickr, Photobucket...get the URL of the photo from your host site and click above on the square icon (as in this picture) above in Quick Reply or Go Advanced, insert the URL of the photo (the address that starts with http...) and it will come out like this:

When there's no paperclip, you can just type in the code around your URL where you have the photo hosted like this:

your image link

...and your photo will appear. Be sure you use the correct brackets...(the square ones.)

See if it works!

Yes it worked, but needs to be enlarged to view properly.

By the way, these lovely people are Terry n Sue forum members at the June meet-up.
