Hello, just booked an apartment in Parque Santiago 3 & I was wondering if there are any cafes or restaurants that do vegan food? I've been to Tenerife as a meat eater before so I know there's lots of places to eat but I'm guessing vegan food might be a little harder to find?

And is it possible to buy soya milk in the supermarkets? Thanks.

Vegetarian is fairly straight forward, specialist vegan is a little more difficult to find.

Just ask the waiter to prepare food with no meat, or dairy. It's the easiest way. Most will try to help. There are always tapas dishes that will generally fit what you need. Go to the counters and look at what is available; ask if unsure of content.

By the time we're out next it may be I'm still on a vegan diet. It will be hard givig up my beloved fillet steaks!
