Lol. Fortunately mine was a nice shade of blue. :-). Not surprised it got nicked. Many a time I locked my keys in it and broke in using a piece of wire.

We used to open hubby's with a front door key lol.
Born in Newbury Park, Ilford, moved to Upminster when I was 13 and then to Dagenham East ( note the 'East', the posh part haha) when I got married. Some people can't make up their mind whether Dagenham is Essex or East London because it is right on the border, I'm not fussed either way :)

I have to agree that some parts are not the best, like everywhere else, but some areas are just like England used to be, unspoilt, with lovely villages, ducks on the ponds, friendly people who say hello, no traffic and peace and quiet - not so keen on the muck spreading though!!! :(
Just noticed your 'advertisement' - is it ok if we come with no screaming kids,have no drunken late nights and don't scrape our suitcases when we are leaving? 'Cos that's just the sort of place we like!! :)
