Hi

I do hope everything is OK - you say your son went missing after 3.00am and you made your post before 10.00am that is less than 7 hours. While I appreciate it is worrying for a parent, I am sure he will be fine. He could be with a girl somewhere or a bunch of guys larking around - they can be very thoughtless at that age I know having had two teenagers myself they dont necessarily think things through. Of course posting his photo is a good thing I am sure if anyone sees him in town they will say your Mum is worried about you and he will be mortified he has put you through it.

Fingers crossed xx

he is from kent, england and he is on his first holiday with friends.
thank you

Added after 4 minutes:

i know i sound like the overprotective mother but this is not the kind of lad that would go off like this, and he left his phone at the hotel, like most teenagers he goes no-where with out that, it just so not my sons actions at all. thank you for your support.x

You say he has a black suitcase with him. Does this mean he planned to leave?

Think the mother was last online at 10.15....maybe she might give us a update soon....but have to say it has only been 12hrs so he might have made contact with his buddies by now.

I hope your son makes contact soon. Presumably you've asked the hotel to help?

He's a young lad and maybe went for a few drinks and did not count on the large measures that can get served, if he took spirits. Add to that a passing girl. He could have just passed out someplace. I knew a guy who lost 24 hours that way!

I don,t understand the telephone bit. Did he leave it at the Columbus intentionally or by mistake. Also, has the O/p spoken to any of Aden,s friends to-day. If not, their parents?

He pulled a girl, case closed

I so hope you are right but as a parent it is worrying - as a parent a couple of thousand miles away it causes major concern as you feel helpless. I do hope he has been in touch.

Actually just re read the OP.

Has he been missing since 3am last night (7 hours before you posted) or 3am the previous night (31 hours)?

If 31 apologies for my previous post

Did he live here or was he on Holiday, and where did he disappear from, Hotel or his own apartment, surprised nobody has been back on this thread to see if there is any news or to let us know he is safe.

Great to know that people still care! That horrible feeling when a loved one is missing would be bad enough when close to home but horrendous all those miles away. So pleased your son has been found safe...even if a bit bruised! Best wishes to you all. xx

Very relieved to see that it isn't such an awful outcome as may be you imagined but still a horrid shock that he was in such an accident. Hope you can get him home as soon as he's well enough to travel.

I know someone of 90 who still worries about his daughter aged over 60+ (not me, incidentally, I'm an adult orphan). Once you're a parent .....
