The club's website is Spanish speaking but maybe you can Babelfish?

Las bandas de frecuencia más utilizadas en España son las de 35 y 40 Mhz que son las autorizadas por la Dirección General de Telecomunicaciones.
That bit may be of particular interest
Here are the laws (in Spanish) http://www.mityc.es/telecomunicaciones/es-ES/Servicios/Normalizacion/InterfacesRadioelectricas/Interfaces/Dispositivos%20de%20corto%20alcance%20%28SRD%29/IR02.pdf
But maybe you could get in touch with the club and see if they offer visitors privalidges or similar?

Hope this helps

Just tried to answer but post is awaiting moderation??????????????
----------------------------------------------------

Its probably links - which is slightly weird but anyway

Go to

www (dot) aeromodelistasdetenerife (dot) com which is a club site

and the laws are reproduced here
www(dot)mityc(dot)es and search for aeromodelismo which will give you the approved frequencies etc

Sorry bout that, but as it's a new site the Anti spam kicks in on posts from members with less than 10 posts that put links in.

The machine can't differentiate between old members and new, it just reads post count.

It's amazing how much spam it's blocked already, but it's a nightmare for mods at the moment having to approve posts.

Unfortunately when you posted there wasn't a mod on line to approve.

Welcome back, GM

BTW, I've approved the original post so the links should now be visible

For all practical purposes, you can regard the laws in Spain which have relevance to R/C flying to be similar to the situation in the UK. The key issues are insurance, what you intend flying and where you intend flying.

BMFA insurance (assuming you are a member) will cover you as a visitor here. If you you are only going to be flying something small, lightweight and slow (e.g. a co-axial helicopter) and you are "sensible" then you are very unlikely to to have problems. Anything with more of a safety risk and the "where" becomes important and a proper established flying site is the obvious choice. I am a member of the club linked in the earlier post and there would be no problem flying there as my guest, but unfortunately I am only returning to Tenerife at the very end of August.

The club is largely Spanish speaking, but assuming you are a reasonably competent flyer (BMFA A level standard) and are willing to have a go with the language then just turn up like you would at a UK club.

thanks for the replies guys. i have a parkzone f27c stryker and a ritewing zephyr and both of them are Fpv/Uav aircraft which are flown from an onboard view from the plane. i use 35mhz for my rc controls and 2.4ghz for my video link. i have insurance that covers me for the UK and europe.
here is my zephyr
