He's going to be a special player AL, granted he doesn't always help himself but the media ( such is their way ) are determined to highlight every misgiving and ignore every positive.
Fortunately, the City fans love him and speaking to a lot of other fair minded supporters from other clubs it seems that he's becoming more and more liked, even if it is mainly for making Wio look like a fool at Wembley in the semi... :-)

Listening to the comments from Sourness & others on Sky suggesting that Mario should be sent off for treading on Scott Parker today makes me wonder if they see a different picture to me. 3 things :-

After the contact he is completely off balance.

He turns his face away so cannot see Scott.

Crucially, he is shoved in the back by Modric which forces him to put his back foot down to prevent himself being knocked over. It is just an absolute accident that it happens to fall on Scott Parkers face.


The ref. was only about 3 metres away & saw it all & decided it was not a foul of any kind.
