I am going to the UK for 3 weeks for my daughters wedding. I am hiring a car (already arranged)for that period, and the rental for a satnav is astronomical. We will be travelling around the country visiting friends & relatives during that time. I can always go buy a road map, but I think Itīll make life easier.

Does anyone here in Tenerife have a Satnav I could rent for 3 weeks, or Iīm quite happy to purchase it if not too expensive.

Please PM me, thanks.

Many thanks for the kind offer chris, but all our visits are in the South and East of the country. Crawley, Peterborough, Leicester, Boston, Gainsborough, Lincoln.

Don't forget that smart phone can provide good sat nav too.

I used to use my old Nokia N95 when on holiday in tenerife to know which bus stop to get off at.

I bought DH one for Xmas off Amazon - think it was about 60 quid, so definitely possible to get one over here for around 50 or 60 quid. Ours came with 2 English voices, some posh bloke and a ladeee called Emily - don't leave home now without our Emily!

You don't need an iPhone - this will do more and allow you to swap out batteries, load stuff onto SD card, print pictures at photo booths, FM radio........ oh and SatNav too ;) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-S-i9000-8GB-NEW-/320732057873?pt=UK_Mobile_Phones&hash=item4aad1ed111
