Warming up nicely here in Costa del Wigan.

My wife came home from work yesterday and said 'What have you done today?' I said 'Nothing'.
She said 'You did that yesterday' and I replied 'I know but I hadn't finished' :whistle:

Those Trams were installed so surface water would drain Down.........Manchester.

Completely missing Ashton too

Some very nice Memoties of that Region when I was Young and Innocent. (Trams there too then.!)

A lovely drying day down here with a fair bit of sunshine until this evening when we had a few thunderclaps and a couple of flashes of lightning and then it rained at long last. Problem was - i didn't last and measured at 4mm!! Top temp today 24.1C (75.4F).

Better day here than expected !!
Been dry all day with bit of sunshine and 19 degrees and only mild breeze after yesterday's strong winds blowing our planter pots a lot ,dear OH not happy with broken fuchsias

Very similar here. 22 and Rain Showers off and on all Afternoon.

Cut the grass before it started though.. Fuchsias looking droopy at Present.... Tomatoes going well so far......

Rotary on standby for Tomorrow.....Drying could be spun out over a few Days.........

Lovely drop of rain today and the grass is already beginning to green up. Only problem is: I will have to mow it before the end of the week! Top temp today was 23.6C (74.5F) and we had about half an inch of rain. The sun nearly came out several times but otherwise it was pretty gloomy.

Wet pretty well all day, thank goodness. No watering the beans tonight!! A brief glimpse of the sun this evening and the top temp today was 20.2C (68.4F). Well over and inch of rain but no floods and it dried up just in time for me to do the recycling in the caravan park!

I have to say after 10 years in Tenerife I like my nights dark and my days light - it still totally throws me waking up at 3am and it's sunny !!!

The perfect day is sunrise at 6ish and dark by about 9ish:D for me that is !

I agree MM, but still don't like it when winter sets in and it's dark by lunchtime!

Weather here bright and sunny again today. Top temp 23C (73.4F). I do agree with 5p that the nights are drawing in though.

Been in Wales since Thursday, rained only once so far and that was overnight. BBQ at my nephews house today so hope It stays dry. Got a nice hotel room with views over Cardigan Bay

. Fine and dry at the mo, cloudy with some blue sky 58 F, no wind .

Looking forward to my Full Welsh breakfast.

we went to the Edinburgh festival to see the sights and street entertainers. What a wonderful atmosphere with tourists from around the world.

the weird and wonderful street entertainers are something else. Edinburgh is such a beautiful city and is well worth a visit.

It was a lovely mild day there with just a light shower when we were about to leave...........so that was good:wave:

I went to the Recycling Area here Today before the Shopping.

The container for empty Cans was alive with flaming Wasps.

At Pwllhelli at the Weekend, there was a swarm at EACH BIN. (quite a few Bins too).

Certainly more this Year.

Never mind, all the Plants are Pollinated. Butterflies seem in short supply, except for whites..

Recently watered Plants. Windy with a Chill in the Air..

It's coming round the Mountain from You, Double M.!

No Rain as Yet though. Around 13 here Methinks, so not quite as Cold as those there Hills.!

:flatcap:15 degrees today but felt like 11, A blustery 6 mile walk was enjoyed by all our party. The route was from The Cow and calf Ilkley over to D I C K Hudsons via The Apostle stones where apparently people used to go seven thousand years ago, The Apostle stones that is not D I C K hudsons, We returned via the same route to The cow and calf, Then nipped into to the Hermit for a quick one.:flatcap::feret::feret::feret::feret:

Really nice and warm and sunny down here. Top temp for the day 21.8C (71.2F). A gentle breeze on occasions and more washing all nice and dry!

Dull, spits of rain on the strong wind. Been like this all weekend though did get the washing dry outside yesterday. Chilly last night but supposed to warm up a bit today.

Supposed to be 23 here.

Took Kids into Garden just after 12. with Coats on.

12.30 Coats off, too warm.. Wind has died down a bit and it was comfortable.

Breeze and sunshine now, but a Little Cloudy too.

Warm Weather set to continue, so They say.
